Egypt Family Holiday 2026 — 10 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada
Overview
The complete Egypt family holiday combines three things every family needs: the ancient world that makes Egypt unlike anywhere else on earth, a Nile cruise that turns travel between temples into an adventure in itself, and a Red Sea beach finish where children can snorkel coral reefs while parents finally sit down. Our 10-day Egypt family holiday does all three — in the right order, at the right pace, with a private child-friendly Egyptologist guide at every step. It is the most complete family Egypt experience available.
Egypt For Travel has operated private family tours under ETA Licence Category A No. 1947 since 2010. Every guide is licensed by the Egyptian Tourism Authority and trained specifically in child-level explanations of ancient Egyptian history. Your vehicle is private throughout — your family never shares a coach with strangers.

Why Hurghada Completes the Egypt Family Holiday
The Red Sea coast at Hurghada has no waves, no significant currents, and coral reef visibility of 15–20 metres right from the shore. Children aged 5 and up can snorkel without experience. Glass-bottom boats and semi-submersibles allow younger children (ages 3+) who cannot yet snorkel to see the reef from inside. The 3-night all-inclusive format means no meal decisions, no budget anxiety, and genuine parental relaxation after the intensity of the cultural program. Egypt For Travel selects family-verified resorts with dedicated children's pools and kids' clubs.
Is Egypt Safe for Families with Children?
Egypt is safe for families. The Pyramids plateau, the Nile cruise ship, the Valley of the Kings, and the Hurghada resort corridor are all well-managed tourist environments with established infrastructure for international families. The Nile cruise is specifically excellent for families with young children because it is a contained, staffed, safe base that moves overnight while the children sleep — eliminating the exhaustion of daily hotel changes. Egypt For Travel's private guide and vehicle mean your family is never navigating Egypt's cities independently.
