Why does this tour go Casablanca first and then Marrakech, not the other way?
Departure on Day 6 is from Casablanca’s Mohamed V International Airport — which has the most international connections. Routing Casablanca on Days 3–4 and Marrakech on Day 5 means the final night is in Marrakech, and the Day 6 morning transfer is Marrakech to Casablanca (approximately 2.5 hours), arriving in time for an afternoon or evening departure. This avoids needing a full extra day just for the airport run.
Does the GEM require pre-booking?

Tips for Departure
On Day 6, avoid booking outgoing international flights before 3:00 PM from Casablanca Mohamed V Airport (the drive from Marrakech to Casablanca takes approximately 2.5 hours). For Cairo (Day 2): closed-toe walking shoes are essential for the Pyramids plateau and GEM’s extensive gallery spaces. For Marrakech (Day 5): the Djemaa El-Fna is best experienced at dusk when the square comes alive — plan the Day 5 afternoon around being there by sunset. Dress modestly throughout: shoulders and knees covered for the Hassan II Mosque exterior visit and the Koutoubia Mosque area. Bring small cash (Moroccan dirhams) for the Djemaa El-Fna food stalls and souk browsing.
