Why the Hummer Safari (Not the Standard 4x4 Safari)?
The Dubai desert experience is available in two forms: the standard shared 4x4 SUV safari (Toyota Land Cruisers, groups of 5–6 per vehicle, moderate dune bashing) and the Hummer safari (H2 or H3 Hummers, maximum 4 passengers per vehicle, steeper dune routes, significantly more dramatic). This 12-day package uses the Hummer version specifically because it’s the experience that produces the most consistent guest satisfaction of anything in the Dubai portion of the itinerary. The vehicle’s size and the angle of the dunes it can access is noticeably different from the standard 4x4 experience. If you’ve done a desert safari in Dubai before and found it underwhelming, the Hummer version is almost certainly what you didn’t do.

Can I add Abu Simbel to the Egypt leg?
Yes — Abu Simbel can be added as an optional group excursion from Aswan on Day 6 or Day 7 morning, approximately $90 USD per person extra. It requires a 3:30 AM departure from Aswan to reach the temples at sunrise. Egypt For Travel recommends it for travelers who won’t return to Egypt separately — the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari are UNESCO-listed and genuinely extraordinary. Confirm when booking.
What Nile cruise ship does this package use?
Standard tier uses the Radamis II Princess Du Nil. Deluxe tier uses the MS Nile Premium. Both operate full board on cruise days. Further upgrades available on request.
Is the Coptic Cairo visit on Day 2 or can it be rescheduled?
Day 2 is a full Cairo day. The standard schedule covers Giza, GEM, Coptic Cairo, and Khan El-Khalili. If you prefer to replace Coptic Cairo with a different site (Saqqara, Islamic Cairo), contact Egypt For Travel at booking to adjust the Day 2 itinerary.

Tips for Departure:

To ensure you secure the Egypt Dubai Travel Packages at the desired time, we recommend making a reservation early. To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% is required. During peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, the deposit increases to 50%. This deposit will go toward your final payment, which is due one week before arrival or in cash upon arrival.
Installment Policy:
We offer a convenient installment payment option, allowing you to spread the cost of your Egypt Dubai Travel Packages over 6, 9, or 12 months. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival in Egypt using cash or a credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount in monthly installments before your trip begins.
Tipping:
Tipping is a common way of showing appreciation for exceptional service, although it is not mandatory. It is often seen as a gesture to acknowledge the dedication and effort of service providers. However, it's important to note that tipping should not replace an employer's obligation to provide fair compensation.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of canceling your Egypt Dubai Travel Packages, the following charges apply:
- 61+ days before arrival: 10% of the total price.
- 31-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price.
- 1-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.
Please note that cancellation fees also apply to all domestic flights within Egypt.
Emergency Cancellation Policy:
If your government or airline issues a travel advisory due to unexpected circumstances like war, natural disasters, or pandemics, we offer a highly flexible cancellation policy. You will be eligible for a refund or credit toward future travel, which can be used within 12 months of the original booking. However, airline terms and cancellation fees, as well as any applicable bank surcharges on deposits, will apply.
