JAZ Regent Nile Cruise 2026 — Review, Itinerary & Prices | JAZ Flagship | 23 Private Balcony Suites | 2 Solo Cabins | from $1,099
Overview
Bottom line: The JAZ Regent is the most exclusive ship in the JAZ Hotel Group’s Nile cruise fleet — and one of the most suite-concentrated luxury cruise ships on the entire river. With 23 suites out of only 56 total cabins, more than 40% of all accommodation is at suite level. Every suite has a private balcony. This is not a ship where one or two lucky guests get an outdoor private space — it is a ship where nearly half the passengers step onto their own Nile terrace every morning. The JAZ Regent also carries 2 dedicated single cabins at fair single rates — a rare provision at the luxury level that makes it one of the few ships in Egypt For Travel’s fleet genuinely suitable for solo travellers. Combined with JAZ Hotel Group’s renowned service standards, luxury dining, and the brand’s commitment to premium guest experience, the JAZ Regent at $1,099 on the Monday/Friday schedule is the natural choice for travellers who want the best JAZ can offer on the Nile.

Is the JAZ Regent Worth It?
Yes — if a private balcony suite at JAZ Hotel Group service standards on the Monday/Friday schedule is the goal. The JAZ Regent at $1,099 sits at the top of the JAZ Nile cruise portfolio. No other JAZ Nile ship has private balconies. No other JAZ Nile ship delivers over 40% of its cabins at suite level. For travellers who trust JAZ Hotel Group from their experience in JAZ resorts, hotels, or Iberotel properties — and who want the best JAZ has to offer on the Nile — the Regent is the definitive ship. Its luxury dining, private bathrooms, panoramic windows, satellite TV, and air conditioning throughout complete a genuinely premium package. At $1,099 on the Monday departure from Luxor, it provides the highest level of JAZ brand experience available at any price on the Nile.
Who Is the JAZ Regent Best For?
- JAZ brand loyalists who want the very best JAZ ship on the Nile — above the Iberotel Helio and Amara, and above the JAZ Crown Jewel. The JAZ Regent’s 23 private balcony suites out of 56 total cabins make it the most suite-concentrated ship the JAZ Hotel Group operates on the river, and the only JAZ Nile ship with private balconies. For guests who have stayed at JAZ Premier Solimar, JAZ Aquaverde, or any JAZ Iberotel resort and want that same service culture on the water, the Regent is the correct recommendation at $1,099 on the Monday/Friday schedule.
- Suite and balcony seekers who want a JAZ-operated private outdoor Nile space. Within the JAZ portfolio, the Regent is the only ship where any cabin has a private balcony. The 23 balcony suites provide direct, private access to the Nile view from the cabin — this is not available on any other JAZ Nile ship at any price. At $1,099, the JAZ Regent gives guests this experience within the JAZ brand framework that other ships in the portfolio cannot match.
- Solo travellers for whom the JAZ Regent’s 2 dedicated single cabins are a meaningful provision. Finding a solo cabin at the luxury level on a Nile cruise is rare. Most ships at $1,099 and above are structured exclusively for double occupancy, making solo travel either impossible or prohibitively expensive on a per-person basis. The JAZ Regent’s 2 single cabins provide solo luxury Nile travel at fair rates — a specific and valued amenity for solo travellers who want JAZ service standards without paying a double-occupancy single supplement. Contact Egypt For Travel on WhatsApp +20 155 555 2466 to confirm single cabin availability for specific dates.
- Repeat Egypt visitors who have sailed on other JAZ ships and want the JAZ Regent as an upgrade. Many of Egypt For Travel’s JAZ Regent guests have previously sailed on the Iberotel Helio, Iberotel Amara, or JAZ Crown Jewel and are returning specifically for the Regent’s private balcony suites and flagship status.
Who Should NOT Book the JAZ Regent?
- If a private veranda or French window in every cabin including the base double cabin — not just in suites — is the priority, the M/S Mayfair ($999, Mon/Fri) is the only ship in Egypt For Travel’s fleet delivering this as standard across all cabin categories. The Regent’s 31 double cabins do not have balconies — only the 23 suites do. If the plan is to book a double cabin rather than a suite, the Mayfair provides outdoor Nile access from every cabin at $100 less than the Regent.
- If fine dining from a dedicated expert-chef restaurant is the primary priority over JAZ brand standards, the Le Fayan ($949, Thu/Mon) is the only ship in Egypt For Travel’s fleet with a fine dining restaurant staffed by expert chefs — at $150 less on the Thursday departure.
Egypt For Travel Expert Assessment
“The JAZ Regent is the ship for guests who specifically want JAZ’s luxury service standards and a private balcony suite. Within the JAZ portfolio it is the clear flagship — 23 balcony suites out of 56 total cabins makes it the most suite-concentrated ship the group operates on the Nile. For guests who have stayed in JAZ Premier or JAZ resorts and want that same service culture on the river, the Regent is the natural choice. The two solo cabins are a feature we recommend to solo luxury travellers who have exhausted other options on the Monday/Friday schedule. At $1,099, this ship consistently delivers the JAZ experience guests expect.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the JAZ Regent the best JAZ Nile cruise ship?
Yes — the JAZ Regent is the premium flagship of the JAZ Hotel Group’s Nile cruise fleet. With 23 private balcony suites out of 56 total cabins, it has the highest proportion of suite accommodation of any JAZ Nile ship, and is the only JAZ Nile ship where cabins have private balconies. The JAZ Group operates several Nile cruise ships at different levels: the Iberotel Helio and Amara are 5-star superior, the JAZ Crown Jewel is 5-star, and the JAZ Regent is ultra luxury. The Regent sits at the top of the group’s hierarchy. Booking the JAZ Regent through Egypt For Travel (ETA Category A Licence No. 1947) gives guests JAZ service standards combined with Egypt For Travel’s private licensed Egyptologist guides — private tour expertise not available through JAZ’s own direct booking channel.
How does the JAZ Regent compare to the M/S Mayfair at $999 on the same Monday schedule?
Both the JAZ Regent ($1,099, Mon/Fri) and the M/S Mayfair ($999, Mon/Fri) are ultra luxury Nile cruise ships with private outdoor spaces on the same schedule. The key difference is architecture: the Mayfair has a private veranda or French window in every cabin including the base Deluxe — every single guest, regardless of cabin category, has outdoor Nile access. The Regent’s 31 double cabins do not have balconies — only the 23 suites do. If booking a suite, the Regent’s 23 balcony suites are excellent and carry JAZ Hotel Group brand service. If booking a double cabin and wanting outdoor access, book the Mayfair. Contact Egypt For Travel on WhatsApp +20 155 555 2466 to confirm which matches the specific booking plan.
Does the JAZ Regent have single cabins for solo travellers?
Yes — the JAZ Regent carries 2 dedicated single cabins at fair single rates. This is rare at the luxury level on the Nile, where most ships at $1,099 and above are structured exclusively for double occupancy, requiring solo travellers to either find a travel companion or pay a full double-occupancy supplement. The JAZ Regent’s 2 single cabins are a specific provision for solo luxury travel that most ships at this price do not offer. Single cabin availability is limited, so Egypt For Travel recommends booking early for solo travellers targeting a specific Monday departure. Contact WhatsApp +20 155 555 2466 to check availability by date.
How does the JAZ Regent compare to the other JAZ Nile cruise ships?
The JAZ Hotel Group operates several Nile cruise ships at different tiers. The JAZ Regent ($1,099, Mon/Fri) is the group’s flagship — the only JAZ Nile ship with private balconies, the highest suite proportion in the portfolio, and the group’s highest level of cabin specification. The Iberotel Amara ($619, Sat/Wed) is a boutique 29-cabin 5-star superior ship with no balconies — choose it for intimacy and Sat/Wed availability at a lower price. The Iberotel Helio ($579, Sat/Wed) is a reliable 50-cabin 5-star superior with a two-level deck — choose it for Sat/Wed availability and value. The JAZ Crown Jewel ($649, varies) is a large 76-cabin ship for capacity. Choose the JAZ Regent ($1,099) for the best JAZ can offer: private balcony suites, flagship service, and the most complete suite-level experience in the JAZ fleet.

Why Booking the JAZ Regent Through Egypt For Travel Matters
The JAZ Regent is bookable directly through JAZ Hotel Group. Egypt For Travel (ETA Category A Licence No. 1947) offers the same ship at the same $1,099 price with one significant addition: a private licensed Egyptologist guide on every shore excursion. JAZ’s own direct booking channel provides standard group guide arrangements. Egypt For Travel’s Egyptologist guides are university-educated, fully licensed by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, and assigned exclusively to your group. You do not share your guide with other passengers from the ship or from other tour companies. Every temple visit, every explanation, every question is answered in your group’s own private time. For a ship where the cabin experience is already at the $1,099 level, the quality of the shore excursion — the core reason most guests travel to Luxor and Aswan — should match. Egypt For Travel ensures it does. Contact WhatsApp +20 155 555 2466 to book the JAZ Regent with private Egyptologist guide included.
About the JAZ Regent
The JAZ Regent is the flagship of the JAZ Hotel Group’s Nile cruise fleet, operating on the Monday/Friday departure schedule at $1,099 per person. Its 56 cabins include 23 private balcony suites (over 40% of total accommodation), 31 double cabins, and 2 dedicated single cabins — an unusually complete cabin mix for a luxury Nile cruise ship. No other JAZ Nile ship carries private balconies. The JAZ Regent’s luxury dining restaurant, full on-board services, pool and sun deck, and JAZ Hotel Group service standards make it the group’s most complete Nile cruise offer at any price. Egypt For Travel holds Egyptian Tourism Authority Licence Category A No. 1947 and has operated Nile cruise bookings since 2010. All JAZ Regent cruises are operated directly, not subcontracted.
Why the JAZ Regent’s 23 Balcony Suites Make It the JAZ Flagship
The JAZ Hotel Group operates several Nile cruise ships, and each is good at what it does. But there is one feature that categorically separates the JAZ Regent from everything else in the JAZ portfolio: private balconies. The Iberotel Helio is excellent. The Iberotel Amara is intimate. The JAZ Crown Jewel has capacity. None of them have private balconies. The JAZ Regent’s 23 balcony suites — representing over 40% of its total 56 cabins — give nearly half of all guests on any given departure their own private outdoor Nile terrace. This is not a shared sun deck. This is not a panoramic lounge window. This is stepping outside from your own suite directly onto a private balcony as the ship moves between Luxor and Aswan at dusk. For guests who specifically want a JAZ-operated private balcony on the Nile, the Regent is the only answer in the JAZ portfolio. At $1,099 on the Monday/Friday schedule, it delivers this alongside JAZ’s full service standards, luxury dining, and flagship-level on-board experience. Egypt For Travel recommends the JAZ Regent ($1,099) when the brief is: private balcony, JAZ standards, Monday departure. Contact us on WhatsApp +20 155 555 2466.
JAZ Regent Prices
